Less than 48 hours to go to get your nominations in! We're in the middle of a last minute rush!!!! THANK YOU! Although it's driving me a little nuts I'm really glad to see it. Over 50 new nominations just today!!!!! Several new categories are opening and I can't keep up with it all.

SO....the last round of nominee notifications will go out THIS Sunday. No notices will be going out before that. If you're waiting for yours look for it in your ebox on Sunday and if you don't receive it please contact me. I'm doing my best to fit ALL nominations in somewhere but truth is not all categories will open. We'll have a Mixed Bag sort of thing for those nominations that just don't fit anywhere.

Still having a problem with non-responsive nominees but I don't think I'll be able to send out any more 'second notices' (some people got 3rd notices). In any event, it doesn't look as though any non-responding nominees nominations will be necessary to hold any categories open. I guess they're out of luck if they don't respond within next two weeks or so. I've done my best to contact them, these emails aren't bouncing just going unanswered. If anyone knows how to contact any of the following please let me know or tell them to get in touch with the program ASAP.

BMA Update

First, a decision has been made and a new category has been available to visual artists; HTH...Hotter Than Hell. These works of art go a step beyond your average 'Erotica' or 'Slash' material. Yes, these images will definitely make you break out in a very hot sweat!

Second, another decision has been reached and there will be a short 'preview period' from July 19th until July 24th when people can come in and view the nominees then come back and vote on the 25th. We want to give everyone a chance to shine and be recognized for their efforts and we felt this was the fairest way to do that. So, anyone who 'opted out' of the program (there are only 6 writers who did so) and was told they had until July 20th to change their minds, this no longer applies. Opting out nominees may still change their minds and enter their works into the program but they must let us know BEFORE July 15th.

NON-RESPONDING NOMINEES---have until July 5th to respond to the program. Those who have already received Second Notices will NOT be receiving a third notice. If we do not hear from non-responding nominees on or before July 5th a decision will be made on their behalf. This decision will be based on the best interest of the program and, most of all, the best interest of the RESPONDING nominees. If a non-responding nominee's nomination is required to hold a category open it will go forward and if it isn't then it will be kicked. Since none of these notices have bounced we are left to assume that either 1-the email address and/or site has been abandoned or 2- the non-responding nominee doesn't care enough to make a decision.

The Stagate SG-1 Blue Moon Awards Celebrates the Best in SG-1 Fandom with an Adult Flare.

Let's face it, our favorite show hit the airwaves more than 10 years ago, the movie...more than 20. So that means a great deal of SG-1 fandom is way over 30. Like a fine wine, we're not getting older, we're getting better, more mature and full bodied. Since we are a bit older, we can still appreciate the more Disney side of life we're really more interested in late night IFC. The program accepts both 'ship and 'slash' as well as stories without sexual content that are more adult in nature. We love rich humor as well as dark comedies, gripping suspense, intense drama, tear jerkers, on-the-edge-of-your-seat action/adventure, romance, and of course, erotica and sensuality. We also love fan artwork that's truly eye catching. Anything that's well-crafted, best suited to and appreciated by a more adult audience.
